Teresa Marie Perrego

Teresa has been practicing the art of cosmetology for 24 years and has become an expert in all aspects of hair design and hairstyling as well as chemical processes, such as hair coloring and permanent waving. In addition, Teresa has had extensive training in the field of Barbering and specializes in men’s cuts & color.

In 2010 Teresa was nominated by Peels Beauty Supply as Salon Professional of the year. This nomination was given to only 5 designers out of 75 who qualified.

Currently, Teresa is licensed to practice cosmetology in both the States of Colorado and New York.

Throughout her career Teresa has performed as an educator for various companies, such as OPI Nail Products, The Central Academy of Beauty Culture and The National Cosmetology Association, and has studied under renowned companies such as Redken and Rusk. In 2010, Teresa received her graduation certificate from Redken to perform as a Professional Redken Artist where she will be facilitating Redken education throughout the state of Colorado.

In addition, Teresa has been certified as a Redken Certified Haircolorist & Master Specialist through Redken's certification process, as well as, a Great Lengths Hair Extension Professional through Great Lengths' certification process.

In addition to operating and managing a salon for 11 years in New York and currently owning/managing a salon and spa in Colorado, Teresa has had the rare opportunity to work under several masters in the field; thus, proficiently advancing her skill level.

We as hair designers have a commanding responsibility to inspire, educate, and ground ourselves in these principles that direct this industry we have chosen as our life’s passion. As a Redken Educator, it is Teresa’s passion to be a motivating and dynamic facilitator whose sole purpose is to inspire and educate with fundamental values and creative imagery that stylists can utilize both in the salon and on the runway! Teresa has been endorsed as a Redken Certified Haircolorist as well as a Master Specialist through Redken’s certification process; thus, proficiently advancing her skill level in order to bring Redken’s vast core knowledge to you. By the spring of 2011 Teresa will have trained and promoted her own education at the Redken Exchange in NYC and the Redken Symposium to provide the newest and highest levels of educational professionalism. By affording Teresa the privilege to be your facilitator she will, through Redken’s world of inspiration and understanding, ignite and accelerate your team’s designing careers.
